Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) won 7-6 over Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) in the Final of the Ladies Alberta Open, held November 8 - 11, 2024 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Skrlik won 9-4 over Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2024 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-2 over Kellie Stiksma (Sherwood Park, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Skrlik finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik defeated Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR) 4-3, then won 8-1 against Claire Booth (Edmonton, AB) and 7-4 against Vanessa McConnell (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ladies Alberta Open Championship title, Skrlik earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 15 of the event schedule, Skrlik did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Skrlik ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
