Gaidule3-0 at 2024 Riga International Curling Challenge

Katrina Gaidule (Riga, LAT) finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gaidule defeated Czechia's Lenka Hronova 11-1, then won 13-1 against Evija Dompalma-Linuza (Riga, LAT) and 10-7 against Nika Shilova (Kaunas, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Riga International Curling Challenge Championship title, Gaidule earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Gaidule did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gaidule ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
