Kaldvee/Lill finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaldvee/Lill defeated Jodi Katz/Michael Katz (West Jordan, UT) 22-0, then won 7-4 against Emily Schweitzer/Blake Hagberg (Minneapolis, MN) and 7-1 against Rebecca Hamilton/Matt Hamilton (McFarland, WI). Kaldvee/Lill went on to lose 5-4 against Gill/Hewitt. Kaldvee/Lill responded with a 9-1 win over Emira Abbes/Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER). Kaldvee/Lill went on to lose 10-5 against Daly/Violette. Kaldvee/Lill responded with a 7-5 win over Aileen Geving/John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Madtown Doubledown Presented by Motus Financial Championship title, Kaldvee/Lill earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $9,804CDN first prize cheque.
