To advance to the championship game, Thiesse/Dropkin won 8-3 over Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Colorado Curling Cup in Lafayette, Colorado, United States; and won 10-8 over Taylor Anderson-Heide/Ben Richardson (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Colorado Curling Cup in Lafayette, Colorado, United States;
 
Thiesse/Dropkin finished 4-0 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thiesse/Dropkin defeated Rilee Kraft/Cayden Kraft (Bismarck, ND) 8-2, then won 11-2 against Harley Scebbi/Vincent Scebbi (Cleveland, OH) and 7-4 against Emily Schweitzer/Blake Hagberg (Minneapolis, MN). Thiesse/Dropkin won 9-1 against Leah Yavarow/Kevin Tuma (Saint Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Colorado Curling Cup Championship title, Thiesse/Dropkin earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $5,412CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Thiesse/Dropkin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thiesse/Dropkin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
