Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2024 Grand Prix Bern Inter Curling Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-5 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI).
Waddell finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Waddell defeated Marco Ringgenberg (Bern, SUI) 12-6, then went on to lose 11-7 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER). Waddell responded with a 9-1 win over Andrin Schnider (Limmattal, SUI). Waddell won 6-3 against Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE), then won 6-5 against Giacomo Colli (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
Waddell earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grand Prix Bern Inter Curling Challenge. For week 13 of the event schedule, Waddell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Waddell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
