Gosgens responded with a 7-3 win over Simon Spits (Zoetermeer, NED). Gosgens won 6-3 against Giacomo Colli (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Gosgens earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grand Prix Bern Inter Curling Challenge. For week 13 of the event schedule, Gosgens did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
