Brittany Tran/Rylan Kleiter (Calgary, AB) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tran/Kleiter defeated Julianna Mackenzie/Sterling Middleton (Vernon, BC) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-1 against Kadriana Lott/Colton Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB). Tran/Kleiter lost 9-8 to Anna Munroe/Steven Leong (Edmonton, AB) where Tran/Kleiter responded with a 12-3 win over Selena Sturmay/Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Tran/Kleiter went on to lose 8-5 against Mackenzie/Middleton in their final qualifying round match.

Tran/Kleiter earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Tran/Kleiter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tran/Kleiter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
