Zoe Cinnamon/Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) finished 1-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cinnamon/Tao lost 10-3 to Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) where Cinnamon/Tao responded with a 8-5 win over Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK). Cinnamon/Tao went on to lose 8-4 against Kadriana Lott/Colton Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Cinnamon/Tao earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Cinnamon/Tao did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cinnamon/Tao ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
