Shawna Jensen/Daniel Deng (Victoria, BC) finished 2-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jensen/Deng defeated
Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Unionville, ON) 8-5, then went on to lose 10-6 against Jennifer Armstrong/Tyrel Griffith (Kelowna, BC). Jensen/Deng lost 7-4 to Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) where Jensen/Deng responded with a 9-2 win over Donna Thornborough/Jason Larence (Vernon, BC). Jensen/Deng went on to lose 6-5 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Jensen/Deng earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Jensen/Deng did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jensen/Deng ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
