Just/Cherpin2-3 at 2024 Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier

Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) finished 2-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Cherpin lost 8-3 to Amanda Sluchinski/Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB), then responded with a 8-4 win over Kaylee Raniseth/Evan Crough (Calgary, AB). Just/Cherpin went on to lose 9-4 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON). Just/Cherpin responded with a 7-6 win over Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon , SK). Just/Cherpin went on to lose 8-4 against Sluchinski/Sluchinski in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Cherpin earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Just/Cherpin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Just/Cherpin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
