In their opening game, Weagle/Epping defeated Tran/Kleiter 6-4, then won 9-6 against Julianna Mackenzie/Sterling Middleton (Vernon, BC) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 7-6 against Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON). Weagle/Epping responded with a 8-3 win over Amanda Sluchinski/Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-6 against Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
