Amelie Maheux/David Maheux (St-Bruno, QC) finished 2-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maheux/Maheux defeated Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) 9-2, then went on to lose 8-6 against Rachel Homan/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Maheux/Maheux lost 12-6 to Casandra Spruit/Geoff Spruit (Winchester, ON) where Maheux/Maheux responded with a 9-3 win over Joanne Gill/Ron Gill (Parry Sound, ON). Maheux/Maheux went on to lose 7-2 against Mikaylah Lyburn/William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Maheux/Maheux earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
