Andreas Haarstad (Oppdal, NOR) finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Haarstad defeated Gjermund Troan (Hedmark, NOR) 9-2, then won 7-6 against Flemming Davanger (Jar, NOR) and 7-6 against Ingebrigt Bjornstad (Trondheim, NOR). Haarstad won 8-3 against Magnus Vaagberg (Lillehammer, NOR), then won 3-2 against Lukas Hostmaelingen (Hafjell, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the National Norwegian Championship, Haarstad take home 16.500 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Haarstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Haarstad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
