To advance to the championship game, Kang won 7-1 over Brooklyn Stevenson (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-5 over Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Kang finished 3-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kang defeated Sherrilee Orsted (Moose Jaw, SK) 9-2, then won 7-6 against Schwaller. Kang went on to lose 8-4 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). Kang responded with a 6-4 win over Stasia Wisniewski-Starkell (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series, Kang take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize. Kang move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 14.926 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 31st overall with 111.161 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Kang ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 106.438 points earned so far this season.
