To advance to the championship game, Benson won 6-0 over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) in the semifinals of the 2024 St. Paul Cashspiel in St. Paul; and won 7-6 over Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 St. Paul Cashspiel in St. Paul;
Benson finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Benson defeated Sidney Schroeder (Madison, WI) 8-2, then won 7-0 against Cousins. Benson went on to lose 7-6 against Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). Benson responded with a 4-3 win over Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the St. Paul Cashspiel Championship title, Benson earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $6,915CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Benson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Benson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
