Kim/Seong Reaches 2025 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship Quarters

Kyeongae Kim/Jihoon Seong (Gangneung, KOR) qualified for the 2025 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON).

Kim/Seong finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim/Seong defeated Casandra Spruit/Geoff Spruit (Winchester, ON) 6-5, then won 10-6 against Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) and 7-6 against Katie Ford/Oliver Campbell (Waterloo, ON). Kim/Seong won 9-2 against Sandham/Craig in their final qualifying round match.

Kim/Seong earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship.
