Ziqi Dong/Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN) qualified for the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-9 against Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Yamanasshi, JPN). of the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Dong/Fei finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dong/Fei defeated Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 10-4, then won 12-6 against Meachem/Shaun Meachem (Swift Current, SK) and 11-10 against Jiayi Tian/Yu Tian (Beijing, CHN). Dong/Fei won 9-2 against Marlee Powers/Luke Saunders (Halifax, NS). Dong/Fei went on to lose 7-6 against Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

Dong/Fei earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan. For week 16 of the event schedule, Dong/Fei did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dong/Fei ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
