Ashton/Gordon went on to lose 11-4 against Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK). Ashton/Gordon lost 10-3 to Ying Yang/Jiafeng Tian (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ashton/Gordon earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 16 of the event schedule, Ashton/Gordon did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ashton/Gordon ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
