Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) won 6-2 over Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Vernon, held September 28 - 30, 2024 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gill/Hewitt won 8-5 over Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Yamanasshi, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Vernon in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-5 over Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Gill/Hewitt finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gill/Hewitt defeated Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) 8-2, then won 7-1 against Megan McGillivray/Sterling Middleton (Vernon, BC) and 7-4 against Kaylee Raniseth/Evan Crough (Calgary, AB). Gill/Hewitt won 6-3 against Koana/Aoki, then won 5-4 against Maia Belway/Dave Belway (Salmon Arm, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Vernon Championship title, Gill/Hewitt earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Gill/Hewitt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gill/Hewitt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
