Schwaller finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 7-1, then won 6-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) and 10-7 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Schwaller went on to lose 7-6 against Mouat. Schwaller lost 9-3 to Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER) where Schwaller responded with a 11-1 win over Rob Retchless (Preston , ENG). Schwaller won 8-6 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Schwaller went on to lose 10-5 against Ramsfjell. Schwaller responded with a 7-4 win over Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Schwaller take home 38.000 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Schwaller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Schwaller ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
