Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) lost 9-7 to Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, held November 16 - 23, 2024 in Lohja, Finland. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 10-8 over Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2025 Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships in Lohja, Finland;
Mouat finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) 8-6, then won 6-5 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) and 8-1 against Rob Retchless (Preston , ENG). Mouat won 7-6 against Schwaller, then won 10-2 against Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Mouat went on to lose 10-7 against Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA). Mouat responded with a 12-5 win over Muskatewitz . Mouat won 10-2 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE), then won 11-7 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Mouat take home 52.250 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Mouat did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mouat ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
