Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-2 over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the SGI Canada Best of the West, held April 4 - 7, 2024 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Wiebe won 7-6 over Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) in the semifinals of the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Wiebe finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Kolomaya 7-6, then won 6-1 against Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-7 against Cole Adams (Calgary, AB). Wiebe won 5-4 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-4 against Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the SGI Canada Best of the West Championship title, Wiebe earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque. Wiebe move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 14.25 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 35th overall with 100.125 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wiebe ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 100.125 points earned so far this season.
