To advance to the championship game, Kleiter won 5-4 over Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 5-4 over Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Kleiter finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) 5-4, then won 7-4 against Josh Bryden (Regina, SK) and 9-4 against Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB). Kleiter won 4-3 against Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC). Kleiter went on to lose 5-3 against McDonald in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the SGI Canada Best of the West, Kleiter take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. Kleiter move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 5.25 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 21st overall with 139.625 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
