Cinnamon/Tao responded with a 7-5 win over Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (St.Catherines, ON). Cinnamon/Tao won 8-1 against Amber Gargul/Leandre Girard (Montreal, QC), then won 8-0 against Hayley Gushue/Spencer Tipple (St.John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Cinnamon/Tao earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Next Gen U25 Mixed Doubles. For week 5 of the event schedule, Cinnamon/Tao did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
