Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) run at the 2024 U25 NextGen Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-3 loss to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 U25 NextGen Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Adams finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams defeated Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) 5-2, then won 7-6 against Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) and 4-2 against Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB). Adams went on to lose 7-1 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Adams responded with a 4-3 win over Sam Mooibroek (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Adams earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic. For week 5 of the event schedule, Adams did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Adams ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
