Tabata finished 2-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata defeated Alberta's Abby Whitbread 9-3 to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 9-3 against Miura to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Saville U25 Challenge Championship title, Tabata earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque. For week 17 of the event schedule, Tabata did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tabata ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
