Kolby MacDonald (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2024 Saville U25 Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Ben Kiist (Edmonton, AB). of the 2024 Saville U25 Challenge in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

MacDonald finished 2-2 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDonald defeated James Ballance (Okotoks/Edmonton, AB) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-3 against Logan Ede (Saskatoon, SK). MacDonald lost 8-3 to Jacob Libbus (Black Diamond, AB) where MacDonald responded with a 9-6 win over Ede in their final qualifying round match.

MacDonald earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Saville U25 Challenge. For week 17 of the event schedule, MacDonald did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDonald ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
