Takumi Maeda (Tokoro, JPN) lost 6-4 to Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the Final of the Saville Grand Prix, held November 1 - 3 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Maeda won 8-4 over Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the Saville Grand Prix in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over James Ballance (Okotoks/Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the Saville Grand Prix in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Maeda finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maeda defeated Peter Hlushak (Spruce Grove, AB) 6-4, then won 7-6 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) and 6-2 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Maeda won 7-6 against Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Saville Grand Prix, Maeda take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. For week 14 of the event schedule, Maeda did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Maeda ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
