In their opening game, Lawes defeated Kayla MacMillan (Victoria, BC) 5-4, then won 8-2 against Zhi Gao (Beijing, CHN) and 7-1 against Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB). Lawes went on to lose 8-0 against Einarson in their final qualifying round match.

Lawes earned 29.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Saville Grand Prix.
