Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) finished 2-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown lost 8-0 to Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN), droppimg another game, 4-3 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) where Brown responded with a 5-4 win over Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN). Brown won 7-2 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brown ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
