Ava Acres (Ottawa, ON) finished 5-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Acres defeated Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) 7-6, then won 15-3 against Claire Dubinsky (Kakabeka Falls, NO) and 8-5 against Emily Bowles (Victoria, BC). Acres went on to lose 5-3 against Shaela Hayward (Carman, MB). Acres lost 11-4 to Allyson MacNutt (Halifax, NS) where Acres responded with a 8-7 win over Jenna Pomedli (Saskatoon, SK). Acres won 9-5 against Ella Lenentine (Summerside, PEI). Acres went on to lose 9-3 against Jolianne Fortin (Kenogami, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Acres earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Acres did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Acres ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
