Terren Algot (Sherwood Park, AB) run at the 2024 Curling Alberta U20 Provincials came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Timothy Marin (Sherwood Park, AB). of the 2024 Curling Alberta U20 Provincials in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada;

Algot finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Algot lost 7-2 to Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 8-1 win over Peter Hlushak (Edmonton, AB). Algot won 7-4 against Nolan Duncan (Calgary, AB). Algot went on to lose 9-3 against Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB). Algot responded with a 9-5 win over Kinley Burton (St. Albert, AB). Algot went on to lose 6-2 against Lowell Whittmire (Castor, AB). Algot responded with a 10-3 win over Ben Kiist (Edmonton, AB). Algot won 5-3 against Marin in their final qualifying round match.

Algot earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curling Alberta U20 Provincials. For week 33 of the event schedule, Algot did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Algot ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
