Kaylin Young (Edmonton, AB) finished 3-5 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young defeated Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) 5-2, then went on to lose 8-3 against Abby Whitbread (Lacombe, AB). Young responded with a 11-2 win over Shianna Lind (Edmonton, AB). Young went on to lose 7-6 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Young lost 9-3 to Grace Beaudry (Calgary, AB) where Young responded with a 8-6 win over Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB). Young went on to lose 10-3 against Myla Plett (Airdrie, AB). Young lost 8-5 to Emma Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Young earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 33 of the event schedule, Young did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Young ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
