Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2024 Curling Alberta U20 Provincials came to an end in the semifinals with a 12-3 loss to Emma Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB). of the 2024 Curling Alberta U20 Provincials in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada;

Richards finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richards lost 11-1 to Deschiffart, then responded with a 9-5 win over Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB). Richards won 7-6 against Kaylin Young (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-6 against Myla Plett (Airdrie, AB) and 11-8 against Abby Whitbread (Lacombe, AB). Richards won 10-8 against Shianna Lind (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-6 against Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB). Richards went on to lose 9-8 against Grace Beaudry (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Richards earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curling Alberta U20 Provincials, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 21.813 total points. Richards ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.813 points earned so far this season.
