Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) qualified for the 2025 Astec Safety Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 3-2 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2025 Astec Safety Challenge in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada;
 
Schwaller finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Ben Kiist (Edmonton, AB) 9-4, then won 7-3 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Schwaller went on to lose 8-1 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Schwaller responded with a 5-4 win over Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schwaller earned 21.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Astec Safety Challenge. For week 24 of the event schedule, Schwaller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 2nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 352.938 total points. Schwaller ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 276.500 points earned so far this season.
