Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) run at the 2024 Island Shootout came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-2 loss to Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC). of the 2024 Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;

Ryan finished 3-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) 8-4, then won 7-3 against Mahra Harris (Victoria, BC) and 6-3 against Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC). Ryan went on to lose 7-6 against Jackson-Baier in their final qualifying round match.

Ryan earned 3.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Island Shootout. For week 15 of the event schedule, Ryan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ryan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
