Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) won 6-4 over Shiella Cowan (Maple Ridge, BC) in the Final of the King Cash Spiel, held October 17 - 20, 2024 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ryan won 7-4 over Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2024 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
Ryan finished 3-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan lost 7-4 to Cowan, then responded with a 7-4 win over Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC). Ryan won 7-5 against Pewarchuk, then won 7-5 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Ryan earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Ryan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ryan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
