To advance to the championship game, Jeong won 7-0 over Colten Steele (Dartmouth, NS) in the semifinals of the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada;
Jeong finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jeong defeated Taylor Ardiel (Halifax, NS) 7-0, then won 6-1 against Cory Schuh (St. John's, NL) and 5-4 against Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS). Jeong won 8-4 against Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic Championship title, Jeong earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, Jeong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
