Wang finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated
Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR) 8-7, then went on to lose
6-5 against
Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Wang responded with a
6-2 win over
Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). Wang won
4-3 against
Gim, then won

Kaitlyn Lawes (Headingley, MB) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost
