Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) run at the 2024 Abbotsford Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-4 loss to Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). of the 2024 Abbotsford Curling Classic in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada;

Ryan finished 3-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) 6-3, then went on to lose 4-1 against Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN). Ryan lost 6-4 to Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) where Ryan responded with a 7-2 win over Chelsea Taylor (Vancouver, BC) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 11-1 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Ryan earned 6.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Abbotsford Curling Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 32.813 total points. Ryan ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.500 points earned so far this season.
