To advance to the championship game, Howard won 7-3 over Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 9-3 over Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;
Howard finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Casper 5-4, then won 9-1 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) and 8-1 against Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC). Howard won 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK), then won 8-2 against Glenn Venance (Penticton, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic, Howard take home 33.000 world rankings points along with the $15,000CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Howard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Howard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
