Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) won 6-4 over Scott Howard (Navan, ON) in the Final of the Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic, held October 24 - 28, 2024 at the Penticton Curling Club in Penticton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 6-4 over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-1 over John Epping (Sudbury, NO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;
Jacobs finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) 7-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Jacobs responded with a 8-5 win over Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC). Jacobs won 7-4 against Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR), then won 8-3 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic Championship title, Jacobs earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jacobs ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
