Clare Viau (Stevens Point, WI) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Viau defeated Miranda Scheel (Fargo, ND) 8-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Ava Schapman (Duluth, MN). Viau lost 9-6 to Nia Berg (Bemidji, MN). Viau lost 12-7 to Allie Giroux (St.Paul, MN) where Viau responded with a 8-5 win over Gracia Berg (Bemidji, MN). Viau went on to lose 8-7 against Allory Johnson (St.Paul, MN). Viau responded with a 6-3 win over Julia Pekowitz (Wayland, MA) in their final qualifying round match.

Viau earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Viau did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Viau ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
