Allie Giroux (St.Paul, MN) won 13-8 over Allory Johnson (St.Paul, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling Junior National Championships, held March 25 - 30, 2024 at the Eau Claire Curling Club in Eau Claire, United States. To advance to the championship game, Giroux won 8-7 over Ava Schapman (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2024 USA Curling Junior National Championships in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States;
Giroux finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Giroux defeated Nia Berg (Bemidji, MN) 10-3, then won 8-6 against Gracia Berg (Bemidji, MN) and 11-4 against Miranda Scheel (Fargo, ND). Giroux won 12-7 against Clare Viau (Stevens Point, WI), then won 6-1 against Schapman and 10-6 against Julia Pekowitz (Wayland, MA). Giroux won 7-5 against Johnson in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the USA Curling Junior National Championships Championship title, Giroux earned 7.500 world rankings points, moving up 219 spots the World Ranking Standings into 159th place overall with 7.500 total points. Giroux ranks 159th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.500 points earned so far this season.
