Mason Guentzel (Saint Paul, MN) run at the 2024 USA Curling Junior National Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-6 loss to Nicholas Cenzalli (Falmouth, MA). of the 2024 USA Curling Junior National Championships in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States;

Guentzel finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guentzel lost 9-3 to Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI), then responded with a 8-6 win over Matthew Lannoye (Portage, WI). Guentzel won 10-7 against Ryan Church (Nashua, NH). Guentzel went on to lose 8-7 against Cenzalli. Guentzel responded with a 8-5 win over Aiden Fitzgerald (Fargo, ND). Guentzel won 8-5 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND). Guentzel went on to lose 8-1 against Caiden Rose (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.

Guentzel earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling Junior National Championships, moving up 137 spots the World Ranking Standings into 295th place overall with 2.875 total points. Guentzel ranks 295th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.875 points earned so far this season.
