Waddell lost 6-5 to Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) where Waddell responded with a 8-0 win over Howard. Waddell won 5-4 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Waddell earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2.
