Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) won 5-4 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1, held October 1 - 6 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 6-4 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and won 6-1 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;
Einarson finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson lost 6-4 to Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA), then responded with a 7-4 win over Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI). Einarson won 7-1 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE), then won 5-4 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 Championship title, Einarson earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $35,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Einarson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Einarson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
