Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) run at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Dunstone advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-5 win over Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB). of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;

Dunstone finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) 6-5, then won 6-2 against Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA). Dunstone went on to lose 7-5 against Jacobs. Dunstone lost 8-3 to Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) where Dunstone responded with a 6-5 win over John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
