To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 7-3 over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and won 5-4 over Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;

Gushue finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE). Gushue lost 7-4 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) where Gushue responded with a 6-3 win over Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO). Gushue won 3-2 against Edin in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1, Gushue take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Gushue did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gushue ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
