Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) won 10-3 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1, held October 1 - 6, 2024 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 6-2 over Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; and won 8-4 over James Craik (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
Mouat finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO) 6-2, then won 7-1 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) and 5-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 Championship title, Mouat earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $35,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Mouat did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mouat ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
